Pirates for Movember

When it was time for the big shave off at Logicom in Milton Keynes, it provided a fantastic opportunity to not only raise awareness  for this worthy cause, but to thank the male staff for their efforts in growing moustaches and taking part in this year’s fund raiser.

It was David Varey, the managing director at Logicom, who came up with the idea for a pirate photoshoot to show the magnificent taches off to their full potential.

We provided ten very different pirate costumes for this event from Captain Hook’s swashbuckling leather coat, to balloon leg trousers, frilly shirts and bandanas, stripy shirts and breeches to a tattooed vest and waistcoat – everyone looked great!

The guys at Logicom raised over £700 for operation Mo 2013 which will be used to aid and promote men’s health.

Victorian Costumes

Victorian and Dickens inspired themed events are extremely popular during the festive season with Christmas Fayres, fund raisers and street markets using the nostalgic and traditional decorations and costumes from the Victorian age, to recreate a magical bygone Christmas.

Many schools have Victorian and Dickens days where the pupils dress up in clothing from that period and we have a great range of children’s costumes suitable for these events from only £16.

We also have an excellent range of adult Victorian costumes for gents from the upper class frock coats and top hats of the gentry, to the breeches and collarless shirts of the working class.

For the ladies we have ball gowns, day dresses and suits for the well to do, down to flower sellers, maids and serving wenches.
