The
wonderful story and prose by Kenneth Grahame tells of the adventures of stay at
home Mole, who after spring cleaning his house, visits the nearby river for the
first time.
He meets
Ratty the water rat, Badger and Toad and has great times aboard Ratty’s boat on
the river with his new friends.
Toad has a
habit of wreckless driving and irresponsible living and he consequently loses
his home, Toad Hall to the wicked Stoats and Weasels. The four friends battle together to regain
Toad Hall.
We have
some great costumes for this fabulous play, from Toad in his plus fours and
driving goggles, Mole in suede waistcoat, velvet breeches and glasses, Weasel
in a gangster suit, to Ratty in his striped blazer and boater.
