Oktoberfest themed events are gaining popularity in the UK with giant beer tankards (stein), lederhosen, german food and schlager music.

This year there are festivals here in Milton Keynes with a 2 day event in Campbell Parkon 13^th-14^th October, Birmingham on the 18^th and Northampton on 27th.
