Daisy Pulls it off is ‘A perfectly ripping yarn’ by Denise Deegan, set in a 1920s English
girls boarding school.
It is the
first term for Daisy Meredith the new scholarship pupil at Grangewood School
for Girls. Daisy finally wins her friends over when she cracks a secret code
and finds treasure.
At Admiral
Costumes we have a full set of 1920’s style gymslips suitable for your production
of Daisy. With over 30 gymslips, school ties and boaters with matching trim, 20
burgundy blazers and several school coats, your show will look both authentic, and
stylish.
When Daisy
and her friends get up to pranks in the dormitory at night time, we have some
wonderful old style dressing gowns to set the scene.
With plain
dresses and school cloaks for Miss Granville, the English teacher and the French
Mademoiselle, we have a suit and cloak for Mr Scoblowski the Russian music
teacher.
Mr Thompson
the gardener is in cords and tweeds with a cloth cap of course and the rather
eccentric Miss Gibson, the head of Grangewood, sports a bright red blouse and
jacket and a tweed skirt.
