This popular play by Agatha Christie is a superb ‘whodunnit’ set in the 1930’s.
The villagers of Chipping Cleghorn are summoned by a newspaper notice to the house of Letitia Blacklock:
“ A murder is announced and will take place on Friday October 29th at Little Paddocks at 6.30pm”
Several villagers turn up anticipating an evening of murder games, but become witnesses to a murder themselves.
Admiral Costumes have a superb selection of clothing from this period suitable for Agatha Christie and other plays set in the 1930’s.
Typical costume requirements are butlers, maids, gardeners, elegant ladies day and evening dresses, country gent tweed suits, blazers and slacks and smart suits for a colonel.
We are delighted to be providing costumes for the Square Drama Group’s production of this play in May and wish them every success.
